FarmPlas Network

It is a national network of regional collection schemes collecting and recycling all farm plastic waste.

The FarmPlas Network brings collection schemes together to share best practice and to establish a cost-effective, high quality service for farmers nationwide.

Underpinning the FarmPlas Network is the recycling plant based in South Wales. This plant is one of only a few in the UK which can handle heavily contaminated plastics.

The plant accepts farm plastic directly from collection schemes. Here it is washed of all contamination and recycled into plastic pellets. These plastic pellets are then used in the manufacture of farm film and other plastic products.
