Who are the collection schemes?
The collection schemes are independent, regional businesses, many of them set-up by farmers themselves. As most of the schemes are farm-based there is a real understanding of the issues farmers face.
Farmers who are acting as collection schemes outside of the FarmPlas Network can still benefit from using our recycling plant. Many farmers and schemes may have been collecting plastic without any sustainable or guaranteed UK recycling facility and our recycling plant offers a route for all contaminated waste plastics.
